The Raton Humane Society summer projects

Here are our projects. We will need workers to sell raffle tickets at KBob’s on the listed dates (See below.) Please contact Diana, 575-445-2694 or email diamondroselil18@gmail.com.

At Mesa Pharmacy, we’ll need one (1) more person each day since Ned and I have signed for those days, too.  We’ll be selling raffle tickets and spay/neuter certificates on July 9; therefore, we can have two (2) people on the certificates and one (1) person selling raffle tickets.  Certificates should sell quickly.  Just let me know by email.

Also, we will need workers for the garage sale, so please let Diana know if you can work that day.

QUILT RAFFLE

1. Quilt was made by former Ratonian, Charlene Alfonso, who now lives in Oregon
2. Tickets are $5/ticket
3. Drawing will be November 24 over KRTN
4. Tickets are available from any humane society member, but ticket sales will also be at the following locations;
5. June 24 @ KBob’s from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
6. July 8 @ KBob’s from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
7. July 9 @ Mesa Pharmacy from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
8. July 10 @ Mesa Pharmacy from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
9. July 22 @ KBob’s from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
10. Aug, Sept, Oct, and Nov – sales will continue at KBob’s every other Tuesday beginning August 5

SPAY/NEUTER CERTIFICATES

1. Twenty (20) certificates will be sold during July.  Ten (10) dog certificates and ten (10) cat certificates.  Twenty (20) certificates will be sold during August.  Ten (10) dog certificates and ten (10) cat certificates.  Will be “first come, first served basis.”
2. Cost is $80/dog certificate; $60/cat certificate.
3. Certificates are limited two (2) per family. Purchaser must be a resident of Raton or Colfax County; therefore, they must show an ID at the time of purchase.
4. Raton Humane Society has applied for the State Low Income Spay/Neuter grant monies. Application deadline is July 17.  Monies will be handed out in September; therefore, we hope our limited certificate sales will help individuals until the grant monies are received.
5. Certificate sale will be at the following location for the month of July:

7. August sale will be announced towards the end of July

GARAGE SALE

1. Will be held Saturday, July 12 @ Raton Animal Shelter; 448 Hereford Drive, beginning at 9:00 am
2. There will be no clothes items.
