The Raton Police Department announces the arrest of two individuals in connection with the recent rash of shootings at dwellings in our community.
Dominic Mateer (19 of Raton) is charged with:
8 counts – Shooting at or from a Motor Vehicle
6 counts – Shooting at a Dwelling
1 count – Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor
1 count – Tampering with Evidence
A 17-year-old male juvenile of Raton is charged with:
6 counts – Shooting at or from a Motor Vehicle
4 counts – Shooting at a Dwelling
2 counts – Tampering with Evidence
A third female suspect is pending an arrest warrant and will be charged in the coming days.
