Local side-hustlers, entrepreneurs, and small-to-midsized business owners are invited to take advantage of a new opportunity offered by the City of Raton in collaboration with Better City.
Beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the City of Raton will host open hands-on support sessions on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Community members can meet directly with Synthia Laura Molina, Director of Community and Economic Development for the City of Raton, and Ann Theis, Economic Development Consultant with Better City.
These informal sessions are designed to help participants:

Revisit their personal and professional callings

Ensure their organizations align with their callings

Increase their sales revenues

Improve their day-to-day operations

Strengthen their profitability and long-term growth

Work through other organizational challenges

Address promising new opportunities
Meetings will take place in two formats:

Walking-and-talking treks through the city from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (MST)

Office hours from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (MST) at the Tourist Information Center (Visitors’ Center), 100 Clayton Rd, Raton, NM, 87740, USA
