The Raton Watchman is holding a “Civic Youth Focus Group” on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the 111 Park Expresso Bar, located at 111 Park Ave, Raton, NM 87740. This will be a guided conversation for young people (16-25) in Raton who want to understand how their local government works and how their voices can shape the future of our town. We’ll talk about real issues, real opportunities, and simple ways to get involved. This is a relaxed, judgment-free setting where every participant can speak and be heard. Free and open to the public.
We’ll also have a few small incentives and door prizes available from local sponsors.
