Some people expressed interest in “talking politics” a few months ago. They were concerned about national policies and how they may affect our local community. Individual conversations covered fears, anxieties, personal safety, and other topics. It was emphasized that this is a non-partisan group. The primary purpose is for face-to-face conversation to help build community, develop shared understanding, and promote mutual aid. There is no specific agenda, meeting minutes, etc.! The group determines its course.
We meet in the back room at Casa Lemus Inn & Restaurant, 350 Clayton Road, Raton. Those planning to have lunch meet at 12:30 p.m. The discussion begins at 1:00 p.m. Please join us.
