The Raton Coalition for the Unhoused will hold its fourth meeting on October 2nd at the Raton Aquatic Center Community Room, 100 Memorial Lane, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. At our last meeting, we had a dozen energized participants, and it was a great meeting! To register, click here.
At this meeting, we plan to finalize our Mission statement and, most importantly, formalize our short-term and long-term goals. There will also be a discussion about what we want in terms of a homeless shelter. We must have as many community representatives as possible participate in this process. We appreciate your input, and it’s essential to make sure that what we do meets the community’s needs.
This is NOT just another meeting where nothing gets accomplished! I have attached the proposed Agenda for our meeting. Please do whatever you can to attend. ALL concerned citizens are encouraged to participate, but please register so we can know who will be attending and have your name tent ready for you.
