There were a total of 22 respondents to our Week 44 Survey, down from last week’s high of 31. Participants were asked to select the option that best answered the question: “Under what circumstances should a warming station for the unhoused be activated in Raton?” The choices were: Temperature of 50 degrees or lower, Temperature of 40 degrees or lower, Temperature of 32 degrees or lower, Temperature of Zero degrees or lower, and Under no circumstances. Temperature of 40 degrees or lower outpaced all the others. Then came Temperature of 32 degrees or lower, followed closely by Temperature of 50 degrees or lower. One participant each chose Zero degrees or lower and Under no circumstances. Below is a chart showing the results. We apologize for our tardiness in publishing these results.
