WomensNet provides funding to women-owned businesses through the Amber Grant program.
WomensNet awards monthly grants and offers additional year-end awards to support women entrepreneurs in the United States and Canada. A single application allows applicants to be considered for multiple grant opportunities.
Funding opportunities include:
Monthly Amber Grant – next deadline is February 28th
One grant of $10,000 is awarded each month to an outstanding woman-owned business. Businesses in all industries, including nonprofit organizations, are eligible.
Monthly Startup Grant
One grant of $10,000 is awarded each month to businesses in the startup or idea stage, defined as businesses with minimal or no sales.
Business Category Grants
One $10,000 grant is awarded each month to businesses within a designated industry category.
Monthly business category themes include:
- January — skilled trades;
- February — health and fitness;
- March — food and beverage;
- April — sustainability;
- May — mental and emotional support;
- June — business support services;
- July — animal services;
- August — hair care and skincare;
- September — education and child care;
- October — creative arts;
- November — STEM; and,
- December — fashion and interior design.
Year-End Amber Grants
Three $50,000 grants are awarded annually. Recipients are selected from winners of the Monthly Amber Grant, Startup Grant, and Business Category Grants.
