Be aware of fraudulent emails claiming to be from the Social Security Administration (SSA) with subject lines like “Revocation of SSN due to federal indictment allegations.”
Important to Know:
The SSA will NEVER email you documents stating such information.
These emails are fake and designed to trick you into calling the number listed or providing personal information.
If you receive this email:
Do NOT call the phone number provided.
Delete the email immediately.
