Are you ready to learn more about autism and safety?
We invite you to join us for our next session of the Imagine Autism Lunch & Learn Series (2024-2025). We are excited to welcome two incredible presenters! Jennifer Mannheim, a pediatric nurse practitioner at the Seattle Children’s Autism Center and Sydney Krebsbach, a community inclusion specialist with Compass Career Solutions.
This presentation will focus on common safety challenges that people with autism are facing, as well as tips to support autistics in the prevention of harm. The common safety challenges include wandering, bullying, violence and abuse. They will include national prevalence data, as well as actions that can be taken to keep autistics safe. This talk will include the lived experiences of a medical provider and an autistic self-advocate.
