COLFAX COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police are investigating a deputy-involved shooting that left a suspect dead. Details are limited but they said it involved the Colfax County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy involved was not injured.
Although The Ratonian contacted the Colfax County Sheriff’s Department for a statement after receiving information from a person who was stopped in traffic on NM Highway 64 where the incident occurred, The Ratonian did not receive a call back.
