PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Pet Assistance League Store (PALS) is pleased to announce that it has purchased and will be moving into more spacious quarters at 131 E. Main Street in downtown Trinidad. The new space — formerly known as Trinidad Trends, and for decades before that as Hadad’s – will allow the animal welfare nonprofit to expand its busy thrift store, and finally be able to accept large furniture and appliances.
Friday, Nov. 22, will be the last day of business at its current location, and PALS’ Grand Opening at the new address will begin one week later at 10 a.m. on Nov. 29, the day after Thanksgiving, also known as “Black Friday.” PALS Director Laura Lustig urges supporters to bring donations to the new location during the week-long move, either at the front door on Main Street or the loading dock in the alley behind the building. “Just knock on the door or call 719-680-0525,” Lustig says, “and staff will be ready to assist between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please do not leave donations outside unattended.”
With a mission of making life better for the pets and animals of Southern Colorado and for those who love them, PALS has been highly successful in sponsoring multiple low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, pet food, emergency vet care and
other animal services since its inception just under two years ago. PALS’ newly expanded thrift store space promises to provide even more resources for the community, Lustig says.
For questions or more information, call 719-680-0525.
