The Raton Police Department will be conducting open testing for the Telecommunication position (2 vacancies).
Where: Raton Police Department 224 Savage Ave
When: Tuesday, August 20th, 2024
Time: 1:30 pm (will conclude at approx. 4pm)
What is the test? To measure the candidate’s reading comprehension, listening skills, prioritizing, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
**An application must be submitted, if you do not have one on file, come in before testing**
Reminder:
NO felony convictions or misdemeanor arrests within the last 3 years. This includes any current or pending cases.
Must haves: High School diploma, or GED, and a valid driver’s license
What’s the pay?
Hourly wage starts at $15.85 for non-certified; the first pay increase is within the first year of hire. (once fully trained and certified)
Schedule?
The position is shift-work which includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
