Want to learn a new musical skill or build upon your skillset? Every Monday night from 7-10PM at ZIA Youth, we try something different. Maybe it’s learning how to make beats on the Bandlab app., or practicing rhythmic exercises with a percussion circle, or a beatboxing tutorial. Maybe some Battle Rap, why not? We’ll try anything once, and if enough people like it then we’ll do it again on another future Monday night.
The details:
All ages are welcome! Youth between 9-17 years of age must have an enrollment form for our after school group on file at ZIA Youth, or else take one home for their parent or guardian to fill out and return to us. The focus is on teens and young adults, but if a child 9-12 years of age wants to join us they are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Bring snacks to share, if you like. Bring your musical instruments and playlists. Bring curiosity about other people and learn something new! We start March 11, 2024! Message us with any questions.
