We received an assistance call for the multiple fires in the Ruidoso/Alto area. One Type 1 Engine along with four firefighters and equipment was dispatched to aid crews fighting the fires. Colfax County crews are preparing for additional requests for assistance. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our firefighters, residents and crews fighting the fires.
